Company INPOST spol. s r.o. was established in 1990 as a private company without any contribution of foreign capital. In the beginning, our company engaged in a wide spectrum of areas of activity, but in the course of several years it gradually stabilised in focus and at present time it specialises in the following spheres of activity:  Department of Meat and Meat Production, Department of Ecology and Department of Metal Works.  The Department of Meat and Meat Production consequently gained the most important position and at present time it has the main position in the activities of the company.  The overall reconstruction of our operations at Moravní nábřeží – meat-cutting plant and in Havlíčkova street – meat production, was executed in 2002. Operations were reconstructed in conformity with the latest requirements of valid Czech and European legislation, which was substantiated also by the certification of systems according to the standards of HACCP, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Invested means also brought new business opportunities and the Department of Meat quickly gained a significant position in the market of food products within the Czech Republic. Good economical stability and technological and legislative preparedness of company resulted in the EU certification under CZ 175 for meat-cutting plant and CZ 146 for meat production. In 2004 the meat-cutting plant also gained the licence for export to the Russian Federation. At present time, the production of fresh, cooled, packed and frozen pork and beef meat in joints and kitchen adjustment is the main activity of the company. We have full assortment of pork and beef offal, meat cuttings in both cooled and frozen form, vacoomed meats etc. for our business partners. Also the possibility of adjusted packing, weight or technology of processing is a matter of fact, depending on the requirements of our customers. The company also trades and offers in its assortment frozen poultry and its parts, frozen fish and venison products. We also offer wide range of soft, durable and fermented products, specialities, smoked meats, hams and boiled products in the smoked goods category. The fact worth emphasizing is that due to all-year daily operation (daily production makes approximately 70 tons of pork and beef meat) we are able to secure the required goods in agreed time on any day of the year. For these purposes we have a wide spectrum of possibilities of our own and hired transport. We are able to react to our customers’ requirements immediately and operatively. The company has been consequently creating also its own retail network of own outlets and distribution centres built in the whole territory of the Czech Republic but also in Slovakia. At present time the company operates 27 company’s outlets with the intention to extend their number further. Within the scope of preservation of pork butcher’s traditions and the support of young generation of butchers, our company cooperates with training college in Uherské Hradiště in the area of teaching and gaining practical experience for people interested in the education in the pork butcher field. At present time, Inpost spol. s r.o. has got three owners with equal rights. The company employs approximately 300 people. Gross revenue of company reached CZK 1.6 billion in 2006. The main objective of company INPOST spol. s r.o. remains the maintenance of permanent relations with business partners also in future years, on the basis of satisfying their requirements and optimising business relations with a special emphasis on the satisfaction of the final customer.
